DESCRIPTION:Your BC Greens in Surrey will be hosting a booth at the White Rock Sea Festival & Semiahmoo Days on Saturday\, August 1st and Sunday\, August 2nd. \nWe’ll be connecting with members of the public and listening to what issues matter most to them. Help us by volunteering at our booth! \nEmail us at sur@bcgreens.ca and let us know what shift you’re available for. You’re more than welcome to sign up for any and all of them. \nThe booths are officially open from 10:00am – 7:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The shifts below are available for both days. \nAvailable shifts:\n– 8:00am – 12:00pm\, including set-up\n– 11:30am – 3:30pm\n– 3:00pm – 7:30pm\, including 30 minutes of take-down \nRSVP Here!

DESCRIPTION:Join the BC Greens and leader Emily Lowan as we march in the 2026 Vancouver Pride Parade and show our support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Pride is both a celebration and a protest\, and it is more important than ever that we stand together in solidarity\, inclusion\, and equality.\nWe encourage all volunteers to wear their BC Greens shirt and as much rainbow and Pride-themed clothing or accessories as possible. BC Green shirts and rainbow accessories will also be available. \nPlease remember to bring a hat\, water bottle\, sunscreen\, and comfortable walking shoes. As the route is relatively long and the weather may be hot\, we recommend dressing appropriately and staying hydrated throughout the event. \nAdditional details\, including the exact meeting location and timing\, will be provided closer to the event date.
