“It’s astonishing to me that rail companies operating in Canada are able to lock out workers who are fighting for safety. Farmers, small businesses, plant workers – tens of thousands of British Columbians will feel the squeeze during these already unaffordable times.
“British Columbia needs a premier who stands up for workers, challenges federal inaction, and demands that companies operating in our province play by rules that prioritize safety and fair treatment. Why are profits coming before people, and where is the government in standing up for the standards our workers deserve?”
