Territorial Acknowledgement

The Saanich North & The Islands Riding Association respectfully acknowledges the unceded traditional territories of Coast Salish peoples, including the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples and the Penelakut Tribe, whose connections to these lands and waters continue to this day. As volunteers for a political party in a colonial system, we recognize our responsibility to reconciliation and transformation, so that we can build a truly equitable and inclusive future together.
